Google Analytics is a free service from Google that displays statistics on visitors to a website. Google Analytics is commonly used by website and blog owners to analyze website performance based on the statistical data displayed.
Google Analytics may track visitors based on referring page information,
including search engines, advertising, pay-per-click networks, email marketing, as well as links contained in PDF documents. When integrated with AdWords, Google Analytics is also useful for analyzing the effectiveness of AdWords ads placed on Google. With Google Analytics, users can find out what ads and keywords are referring the most to the user's website.The Google Analytics application can be accessed through the address google.com/analytics/. Google Analytics is also used to determine the traffic density of websites/blogs. By using Google Analytics one can generate reports on website/blog traffic on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. To register for Google Analytics, one only needs to have a Google account.
How to Add Your Blog or Website to Google Analytic ?
Step 1. Create account or logi if you have an account.
Step 2. Go to Admin menu and select "+ property".
Step 3. Fill the "property name", and select your reporting zone as well as currency
Step 4. Select " Advance Options ".
Step 5. Slide to right the " Create a Universal Analytic Property ". Then Fill the "Website Url". and Choose "Create a Universal Analytics property only", Then Click "Next" button.
Step 6. Select " Industry Category ", and Business Size.
Step 7. Check list in "How do you intend to use Google Analytics with your business? (Check all that apply)". you can select more than one.
Step 8. Click " Create ", and you will see your "Tracking Id", and Global Site Tag. For blog, we use only the tracking id, For Website we use Global Site Tag.
Step 9. Copy your Tracking Id, and go to your blog admin dashboard.
Step 10. Select Setting menu, Find and Click " Google Analitycs Property Id " and paste your Tracking Id in here, and click Save button.
Congratulations, your blog has been registered with Google Analytics. Wait a few days, and check the Google Analytics dashboard.
